The Hidden Innovator Assessment is a self-report instrument that determines the most probabilistic problem solving approach a person manifests when confronted with challenges. It provides important information about the psychological and behavioral tactics a person is likely to take when solution-oriented imagination is required. By focusing on the behavioral manifestations of a person’s problem solving approach and leveraging questions found in other inventories like Interpersonal Communications Skills Inventory and the VIA Inventory of Strengths, this assessment presents a fuller picture of an individual’s personal approach to problem solving, as well as how they may perform on a team. The assessment classifies individuals into three distinct types of innovators known as the Dreamers, Sages, and Tinkerers and when combined with the innovation training, can assist companies in building stronger, more effective problem-solving teams.
